Im 41, my LDL was 121 today on my bloodwork & apparently it’s high. My triglycerides are 77, HDL is 65, my non HDL is 138 which is also high according to the range numbers. I got a follow up appointment & I’ll see what they say.

When traveling it's almost impossible to eat healthy. You are forced to eat junk unless you carry hard boiled eggs and a can of sardines with you. I went to Orlando not long ago. I only saw one fit person. I don't blame them too much. The lifestyle makes it very hard. I spend half my waking hours buying and cooking. Not everyone can do that. If healthy food was subsidized and unhealthy food taxed maybe there'd be more healthy fast food for people to enjoy. The country needs a leader that addresses this problem.🤔

Interesting information. I can relate to this in my weight loss journey. With no change to my resistance training schedule and intensity, I have found periods where I plateau in fat loss, correlate closely to times my step count drops. Time to get walking!

Why are the "Links to studies.." COMING SOON? The links to things you are selling are readily available in the video description, but you hide this important info ????? The info you've provided is interesting, and when i look myself, what youve said is in agreement with much (not all) of the science, but it is concerning that you arent fully transparent about the citations.

Here watching and listening from Australia. Thank you posting it, knowledge is power. My GP freaked out at my total cholesterol levels. You have to go on statins or you will possibly be dead within 5years…… everything I have read on statins, plus my own commonsense tells me NO… The more I learn, it is obvious that my own instinct is correct. I have low HDL and high LDL. I hate how the medical fraternity try to pigeon hole you into certain parameters. Define NORMAL? What is normal for one is not normal to another. I am also a slow acetylator. So, does the normal fasting component for these lipoprotein tests play a part, or should I have fasted longer than the usual 10-12 hrs? It is quite complex for each individual. 25yrs ago they told everyone to stop eating butter, and full cream milk. I never did. Now they are saying it’s not quite the villain they thought it was. Did the person who did that initial study get paid by the margarine companies? I am somewhat sceptical whereby $$$ are concerned. As they say follow the money….. the drug houses are making millions.

I still find it amazing that when the science community said about 6 or 7 years ago that 35 years prior they got it very wrong and we need to stop eating these oils and go back to natural animal fats, and yet this has been buried or not listened to, given the original epidemiological studies that said we need to stop animal fats were funded on the most part by the companies that profit from the veg oil sales. Fantastic videos with really good and balanced well presented information. Thank you

In my 50s and struggling with severe constipation since my 30s and having children. It has taken a big toll as it affects my mood and energy and basic ability to even function. Have tried a lot magnesium and other things but nothing seems to help much now. Tried keto but after listening to this it seems it is not the answer and I need to cut back on the fat and focus on the health of my gall bladder. My father had PD as did his father. High cholesterol seems to be hereditary in the family and I have inherited it as well. My father tried hard to stay fit, eat healthy, didn’t drink or smoke. He was given a lot of medication for his PD. He got dyskinesia an had a very poor quality of life during his last 5 years of life & died at 76. I do wonder what caused this and how to avoid going down the same path.

My dad was taking statins for high cholesterol and blood pressure medicine... this combination interacted too much and eventually killed him...I believe the western medicine tries too hard to fit everyone into a small window box of cholesterol range. My dad did everything he could to reduce his cholesterol levels with no success...I don't trust the western medicine and big pharma industries...

The only thing that does that for me is RUNNING. I can (and do) speed walk for 4 miles. Doesn't reduce my body fat....but running does. Walking (even that much) is a joke to my body.

Bummer. I was hoping for motivation and inspiration. Please look up these words - they encompass emotion even more than facts and stats. Then again, I believe this channel is targeting a completely different demographic than my lifestyle. I've worked my butt off to make a living, since I was 13 years old. I have a long history of mental illness and suicide in my family, and battle that myself. As part of that battle, I've done volunteer work with mentor groups, overseas ministry, and animal rescue. It's good for me mentally, but because of being on my own with mentally ill parents, when I need an uplift, it's rarely there. I don't have the money or time for the gym, but the hiking trails and deer trails behind my home are free - I just need the uplift and encouragement when I'm sad and down to get out there. I was hoping for that today. My life is a difficult struggle, I see the benefits of good nutrition and exercise and try so hard to use these tools, but need encouragement along with stats, and I get zero motivation from guilt pushing. I think this channel is for the elitists working on their muscles and their looks, not trying to survive and thrive in difficult situations. My doggo is more encouraging for my step count than this is. I'm happy for those who were motivated here, I just came to the wrong channel. I'll have to look elsewhere.

From Northern Ontario. I am a 15 month carnivore. I cured my ME/CFS with the carnivore diet. I went to my new doctor up here and had my bloodwork done. My LDL is high, as expected, and my total cholesterol is high. As we know, those markers are poor indicators of heart disease risk. My HDL to triglycerides ratio is very good. She immediately wanted to put me on a statin. I knew that was coming. I told her, no thanks.
